WHY I CHOOSE NATURAL MATERIALS AND LOCAL SEWING IN WARSAW

Why did I choose natural materials and local sewing?
The Gallup test revealed what I've long known about myself: I'm an idealist. When I believe in something, I refuse to compromise. I strive to embody values that matter—including in fashion.
I've always loved well-tailored, classic clothes, but when I started to look more consciously at how the things we wear are made, it was hard for me to accept what I saw. Pervasive overproduction, synthetic fabrics that don't allow skin to breathe, clothes designed for one season and then ending up in landfills. A lack of respect—both for the people who make the clothes and for those who wear them.
I wanted something different. Clothes that were as beautiful as they were ethical. Clothes created with attention to detail, not rushed. Clothes that not only looked good but also wore well—and aged well. NUES is fashion created consciously, not in a hurry.
As a mother, I also think not only about what we wear today, but also about what we will leave for future generations. That's why at NUES, we choose natural materials, sew locally, and focus on quality that will last for years—because fashion can be both beautiful and sustainable.
Materials that live with you
We choose only the highest quality fabrics: wool, viscose, and silk. Why? Because natural materials are not only more skin-friendly, but also wear better and longer. They breathe, conform to the body, and age beautifully. They don't lose their shape after several washes, don't cause irritation, and above all, they don't leave behind microplastics like synthetic fabrics.
We sew primarily from deadstock —unused leftover materials from collections by global fashion houses. This means we give fabrics a second life and don't contribute to overproduction. Every purchase at NUES is a conscious choice—without compromising quality or ecology.
Local Sewing: Quality You Can Feel
Our clothes are made in a small sewing workshop in Warsaw. Why don't we sew them cheaper, halfway around the world? Because I believe in the value of craftsmanship, fair working conditions, and attention to detail.
Local sewing is:
Better quality – because each piece passes through the hands of experienced seamstresses who perfect every seam.
Less CO₂ emissions – clothes do not travel thousands of kilometers in transport, so their carbon footprint is much smaller.
Supporting local workshops – we collaborate with local sewing workshops instead of anonymous factories. Each of our collections is the result of the work of people we know and respect.
Fashion that lasts
In the world of fast fashion, clothes are designed to last a single season. At NUES, we create pieces that will last for years. Our selection of high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship make our designs durable, timeless, and resistant to passing trends.
When you invest in well-made, natural clothing, you not only save yourself the frustration of stretched or faded fabrics, but you also significantly reduce the amount of textiles ending up in landfills. This is truly sustainable fashion —not the kind that promises "sustainability" on the label, but the kind that actually changes the way we buy and wear clothes.
A choice that matters
When you choose NUES clothing, you're choosing quality, conscious fashion, and responsibility . You're creating your wardrobe thoughtfully while supporting craftsmanship, people, and the planet. This matters—for you, for us, and for the future of fashion.
Thank you for being part of this change.
